While this sounds a great program on paper, what is it like in real life? Can a person really lose weight while enjoying their food without having to life a finger to prepare or cook anything themselves?
In this post I want to share a more personal experience that is close to home. Not me personally, as I didn't need to shed any weight, but I'm pretty close to someone who did!
Close to Home
My sister always hated dieting to lose weight even though she really needed to do something to bring her weight down by at least twenty pounds. I got her to read some interesting reviews of Bistro MD to see if it might be something that would interest her.
She did admit that part of the reason she hated diets in general was because she simply does not like cooking or preparing food and the thought of having to measure out portions and count calories just turned off the whole idea. But she liked the idea of having someone else do all of the work for her like preparation and cooking and liked even more the idea of having all her meals delivered to her door.
She looked at some of the other diet food home delivery companies just to get some contrast. Well the others may have been as good or similar, but since she had read up on Bistro MD first of all, she decided that would be her choice.
Go For It!
When her first week's package of meals arrived, she got straight into the swing of things and started with a late breakfast, as the delivery came at nine in the morning. She was pleasantly surprised at how good the meals were and mid-way through the week decided she liked it enough to keep it going. So she ordered more weeks and got on with it.
After six weeks on the diet, she had lost most of the twenty pounds she needed to lose and decided it was time to quit the diet. She never returned to her old bad eating habits, so has kept her slimmer figure ever since!
So you see it is not only possible to lose weight with this program, but a definite thing if you stick with in, don't cheat and above all, enjoy your food!
